That's dollars cheaper than what Tigerair is offering right now.

Sorry, this sale is no longer running. Check our list of current flight sales to find a bargain!

The Gold Coast flight sale war is on and the two airlines in the running to get you there for the cheapest price are Jetstar and Tigerair.

Only yesterday, Tigerair released its latest up to 40% off sale with flights from Sydney to Gold Coast for $78 return. Today though, Jetstar's pipping them to the post with flights on the same route for $75 when booked through STA Travel.

Book direct through Jetstar though and the fare goes up to $90 return.

Both flight sales are for travel between the end of August and the middle to end of September, making them last-minute deals. This is a great excuse to escape the winter chill for sunnier climes and has all the makings of a weekend break.

The Tigerair sale is available until 12 August while the Jetstar sale runs until 16 August.

Other cheap fares headed for the Gold Coast include the following:

  • Melbourne to Gold Coast from $90 return on Jetstar or $130 return on Tigerair
  • Adelaide to Gold Coast from $120 return on Jetstar
  • Perth to Gold Coast from $195 return on Jetstar

You can book these flights and more with STA Travel here.

Want to get these flights even cheaper? If you're the kind to push your dollars to their fullest potential, you can call Flight Centre, which offers lowest-price guarantees. Right now, it's got the same $78 return Tigerair fares from Sydney but is selling the Jetstar fares from $130 return, so it might be worth contacting them to see what they can do.
