Jetstar Friday Fare Frenzy sale another winner with $29 seats

Hobart, Cairns and Uluru are just some of the destinations that await you.

You already know what time of the week it is. $29 Jetstar fares are back in the name of Friday Frenzy.

This week's cheapest seat might take you by surprise with Sydney to Melbourne (Tullamarine) in top spot.

Booking is made easy, simply head over to KAYAK to get a slice of this irresistible pie.

The travel dates have your winter escape sorted, ranging from early March to mid-June 2021.

We thought these fares deserve a moment in the spotlight:

  • Newcastle to Melbourne from $49 one way
  • Sydney to Ballina Byron from $52 one way
  • Launceston to Sydney from $55 one way
  • Brisbane to Cairns from $79 one way

Let's get into the nitty gritty of those savings. Not only did we see Jetstar beat out the sales from Virgin Australia and Rex Airlines with $29 fares last week, but we also have $29 South Australia seats on sale now. Seems Australia's only low-cost airline has a new savings benchmark (and we're not complaining).

The clock is well and truly ticking. This sale begins at 12pm AEDT and finishes at 8pm AEDT on 19 February 2021, unless sold out prior.

See a lower fare with another airline online? No problem. Jetstar will price beat any cheaper ticket by 10%.

How good are these fares?

  • Flexibility: Good. For peace of mind, simply add Jetstar's FareCredit to your airfare. This can be added for a fee during the checkout process and allows you to get a credit note if you need to cancel.
  • Airline: Good. Jetstar is a budget airline that aims to save you money. So checked baggage, in-flight meals and entertainment aren't included in your airfares but can be added for an extra fee.
  • Travel time: Great. Did someone say direct flights across the sale? Jetstar just did.
  • Weather: Great. If seeing Cairns is on your list of things to do, then these travel dates are right up your alley. Fly between April and mid-June for the most comfortable temperatures and fewer crowds.
