You can always rely on budget airline Jetstar to come up with the goods, especially for a cheap summer break, and right now, it has flights to Bali for $169 return so you can do just that.

This cheap fare is for Darwin departures, though you can still benefit from discounted flights taking off from Perth, Townsville and Cairns in this sale.

Typically when we see discounted Bali fares from Darwin they drop to $99 each way or $198 return, making this an exceptional find indeed.

To score it, you'll have to travel between November and March, sans the Christmas holiday period. On the upside, some flight routes include public holiday dates like Australia Day in them, so you can make the most of your day off. Click the links in the table below for more details.

As Jetstar is a budget carrier, prices don't include checked luggage, in-flight meals or in-flight entertainment, though you can add these for a fee.

From To Travel dates Return fare (from) Book
Darwin Bali Late-January - mid-March 2018 $169 Book your flight to Bali
Perth Bali February - June 2018 (flying Jetstar and AirAsia) $182 Book your flight to Bali
Townsville Bali November - December 2017 $284 Book your flight to Bali
Cairns Bali October - December 2017 $296 Book your flight to Bali

These flights are available until seats sell out and can be booked through I Want That Flight.

While flights out of the major cities of Sydney and Melbourne come up a little pricier, Jetstar has been known to discount these routes during a sale. You can keep on top of this action by signing up to our newsletter below.
