Jetstar has announced that the airline is launching new flights between Brisbane and Canberra for the first time.
To celebrate the milestone Jetstar is throwing a flash sale with fares from Brisbane to Canberra from $75 one way.
Jetstar Group CEO Gareth Evans said "Our flights will take off in time for Floriade, helping to bring thousands of interstate visitors to one of the major festivals on Canberra's calendar.
"With international borders closed, there's a huge appetite for low fares to travel domestically. We know these flights will be really popular and provide a great boost for tourism operators and businesses as visitors explore everything Canberra and the region has to offer."
Take off with select dates between early-September 2021 and mid-March 2022. Wine lovers keep your eyes on February to March tickets to explore nearby vineyards and sample the selections.

This is a very strong entry into the Brisbane-Canberra scene by Jetstar. Virgin Australia flies the route from $158 one way in the September period (as compared on Skyscanner).
