Jetstar sale offers new route to “Australia’s most beautiful coastlines”
You have to be quick – these fares are gone at the stroke of midnight.
East meets west in the latest Jetstar sale to hit our shores.
Beginning from November, travellers can take off between Brisbane and Perth direct – a first for the Australian budget airline.
The announcement comes complete with seats taking off from $125 each way.
Gareth Evans, Jetstar Group CEO said, "We're excited to help make travel between the east and west coasts even more accessible by introducing our low fares between Perth and Brisbane.
We expect these flights to be really popular with holiday-makers, with Brisbane and Perth being gateways to some of Australia's most beautiful coastlines and unique attractions, such as sand tobogganing on Morton Island in the east and visiting the quokkas on Rottnest Island in the west".
When are flights taking off? Travel dates range from 2 November 2021 to 26 March 2022. Specific dates may apply.

How do these Jetstar sale fares stack up?
The launch adds 100,000 new seats between the two major capitals every year, but we've checked how far these seats actually take your dollar.
Prior to the route, travellers only had the option of flying with full-service carriers such as Virgin Australia. Locking in the same November travel period, Skyscanner revealed Virgin's cheapest fares to be $300 return. That's $25 more on each leg of the flight and you no longer receive inclusive meals.
Queensland tourism minister, Stirling Hinchliffe added, "Now is a good time to start planning your next summer holiday in Brisbane with a great climate, bay islands, national parks and beautiful beaches all within easy reach of Queensland's capital".

- Good flexibility: Add FareCredit at checkout, which offers a credit for the value of your fare plus any in-flight extras in the case that you cancel. Vouchers are valid for up to 3 years from the issue date. All bookings with Jetstar vouchers will be returned if the flight is cancelled or affected by border restrictions.
- Good airline: Jetstar is Australia's only low-cost airline, perfect for light travellers. Airfares don't include checked baggage, in-flight meals and entertainment but can be added for a fee.
- Great travel time: Enjoy direct flights across this Jetstar sale.
- Okay weather: The best time to visit Brisbane falls between April and May as the rainfall is lowest during this time of the year and the weather is still warm. Perth, on the other hand, favours October to November for ideal travel conditions. Although this promotion just misses these periods, the summer months still offer temperatures perfect for the beach. Just keep in mind that school holiday periods are the busiest.
