$45 Jetstar fares in latest Fare Frenzy
Bargain fares for Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Queensland has opened up its borders, and Jetstar has responded with a sale that has cheap fares to several iconic Queensland locations, along with a stack of other bargains.
The cheapest fare in this batch is $45 for a flight from Sydney or Newcastle to the Gold Coast, or from Brisbane to Newcastle. Other key bargains include $99 fares from Sydney to Uluru, and $79 fares from Adelaide to the Gold Coast.
The deals are available across August and September 2020. That does mean no deals to Victoria, which currently has a lockdown in place across Melbourne.
Jetstar is still offering one flight change without having to pay a change fee on domestic bookings. So if you end up having to change these flights, you'll only have to pay a fare difference.

How good are these fares?
- Price: Good. This sale has similar prices to last week's Friday deals, with $45 as the kick-off price. As an example of what you can save, a flight to Uluru from Sydney can easily cost $400 or more, so $99 is a good deal.
- Airline: Good. Jetstar is now Australia's main budget airline. These fares don't include checked baggage, in-flight meals or seat selection, so keep that in mind.
- Travel time: Great. These are all direct flights with no connections needed.
- Weather: Good. These trips cover the end of winter and the beginning of spring, but with mild weather in many states, you can still enjoy the break.
