Jetstar EOFY Sale shopping tips

  • Be flexible. Budget airlines like Jetstar often have the most sale seats available on flights scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These days are you best bet for getting the cheapest price.
  • Consider alternate airports. Flying to Melbourne, Southern Queensland or the Whitsundays? Consider flying to a secondary airport, such as Avalon in Melbourne, Brisbane for the Sunshine or Gold Coasts, or Proserpine on the Whitsunday Coast. This strategy could save you money on your tickets.
  • Travel light. Jetstar offers a no-frills service, so your ticket doesn’t automatically include a checked bag. If you can manage with just a carry-on, you could save big on baggage fees, which can cost almost as much as the fare on some of the cheapest routes.
