Everything we know about Jeffree Star’s 55-shade foundation range

A Jeffree Star Cosmetics foundation range is coming and we're pretty excited.

Way back in December, Jeffree Star announced he was working on foundations and concealers. His beauty brand already consists of lipsticks, lip liners, highlighters and eyeshadow palettes, so this upcoming product marks the first one specifically for your skin.

After dozens of loyal fans and customers reached out to the beauty guru asking him about a possible foundation and concealer, he responded via Twitter stating, "and for everyone asking.....YES....I'm developing and working on my own #jeffreestarcosmetics concealer and foundation". His tweet amassed more than 7.3K retweets in less than 24 hours. However, Jeffree did note that it's a huge project and he was still working on the formulas. Until now.

He has confirmed that the Jeffree Star foundation will be coming in a whopping 55 shades. That's one of the largest shade ranges for a foundation we've ever seen. It comes as no surprise though as Jeffree did comment on the limited Tarte Shape Tape foundation range and also commended Rihanna for launching Fenty beauty with 42 shades.

Jeffree Star himself tends to wear foundation that is super full coverage with a matte finish. Therefore, we're going to go ahead and guess that the first product will also be a matte foundation that's medium to full coverage. This product would easily fit into his other cosmetics that are super pigmented and full of coverage and colour as well.

The foundation is also in the works with a range of other products like Jeffree Star Cosmetics setting powder, setting spray, lip glosses, face primers and a new holiday season palette.

Many users have taken to Twitter to express their excitement for the upcoming foundation and the extensive shade range.

We still don't have a launch date yet, but we have our eyes completely peeled. You can shop Jeffree Star from a range of places including Princess Polly.
