It's beginning to look a lot like a Jeffree Star Cosmetics Christmas...

We have been ever so patiently waiting for Jeffree Star to reveal his upcoming Christmas collection. Just a few days ago he gave us a sneak peak of the Alien palette but other than that, we haven't seen too much. Until now.

Just this morning Jeffree Star uploaded a video to his YouTube channel to completely reveal the upcoming 2018 holiday collection. Yes, we squealed a little. It's set to go on sale on 9 November and you can buy it in Australia from Princess Polly.

So what's in the collection?

The Alien eyeshadow palette

This is Jeffree's fifth eyeshadow palette he has created alongside the Blood Sugar palette and the Thirsty palette. The colour story in this palette is unlike anything the brand has launched before. He has also always stuck to eyeshadow palettes in a square shape. So it's fair to say launching an alien head-shaped palette is very different for the brand.

The palette itself has 18 shades, with a mix of metallic shimmers and pigmented mattes. The formula is the same as the Blood Sugar palette. Straight off the bat we're already obsessed with the emerald green and royal purple shade that we simply can't wait to play around with. The swatches throughout the video do nothing but convince us that Jeffree has worked had on this product to bring us something that is 10/10.

The Velour Liquid lipsticks

Jeffree Star has created eight new liquid lipstick shades and again, they're unique as hell. The packaging is also different this year with a white box with a rainbow iridescent shift and the liquid itself has glitter around the barrel of the lipstick.

The shades include Can't Relate (a pinky nude), Karma (a khaki green), Jeffree Who? (A hot Barbie pink), Scandal (a warm rose mauve with soft glitters), Hi, How Are Ya? (a reflective red), Clout (a metallic lavender), Triggered (a dark plum brown with reflective glitter) and last but not least, yOu'Re sTiLl oN tHe PrOpErTy (a deep metallic blue.

The Lip Ammunition lipsticks

Just to be an overachiever, the beauty blogger also created a new finish of his Lip Ammunition lipsticks. He has created satin or glitter finishes before but these Lip Ammunition lipsticks actually have a satin/glitter finish that you can wear by itself or over a liquid lipstick.

The shades and names are Alien Tears (a cool pink), Galaxy Gold (a metallic gold), Area 51 (a glitter green) and Beam Me Up (a multidimensional bronze).

The lip scrubs

Four new Velour Lip Scrubs are also included in the holiday collection. And of course, they all have a cute Christmas twist. The flavours are Egg Nog, Pumpkin Pie, Salted Caramel and French Toast.

Additionally, Jeffree has included stunning new makeup bags in this launch. One is white with green glitter and another is a bright lime green and to be honest, we're obsessed. In last year's holiday launch he also revealed new highlighter shades. This is the first Christmas launch that Jeffree hasn't launched new highlighter shades but given that he recently dropped a whole range of new highlighters, we're okay with it.

When and where can you buy it?

The collection is set to launch 9 November and we already know this is going to be a sellout. You can purchase Jeffree Star from our favourites over at Princess Polly who are official stockists and offer Afterpay and express shipping. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!
