Only last week did Qantas announce a Global Sale, driving prices down across its entire network and flights to Tokyo down to $796 return.

Now, the flying kangaroo has one-upped itself, driving those Japan flights even lower with starting fares at $695 return on trips between Brisbane and Tokyo.

Compared to Thai Airways' flights on the same dates, this comes up $57 cheaper making them the cheapest full-service flights around at the moment.

Other routes on sale include Melbourne to Tokyo from $707, Sydney to Tokyo from $708, Canberra to Tokyo from $725 and Adelaide to Tokyo from $726 return.

Travel is from February to late March and late April to July 2018. While these don't include peak cherry blossom season, if you fly in early and stick around you can tweak this sale in your favour. Alternatively, you can just chance it close to flowering dates and see how you go. You never know, they may bloom early.

We found these flights on sale through I Want That Flight. If you want to know more, look below for a full list of routes and fares.

These flights aren't part of any particular sale and are only available until sold out.
