Rest assured, there'll be plenty of shady conspiracies and deadly espionage in this military thriller series.

The works of the late renowned military-fiction author Tom Clancy continue to make an impact on modern audiences, with numerous adaptations in the film, TV and video game space. The latest of these stars Clancy's long-running hero Jack Ryan in the appropriately-titled Jack Ryan series coming exclusively to Amazon Prime Video in 2018.

An Amazon Original series, Jack Ryan follows the titular CIA analyst as he finds himself hurled into a global war between terrorists in the Middle East and the US government. Ryan manages to decipher a pattern in the communications of the terrorists that presents the only opportunity to stop the rising threat before it unleashes mayhem and destruction throughout the world.

Starring John Krasinski (The Office) as leading man Jack Ryan, the series also boasts the talent of Ali Suliman (Paradise Now) and Karim Zein (Nocturne in Black).

In other streaming news, Netflix has teased the second season of Stranger Things and Stan has released the first episode of White Famous free for everyone to watch.
