However, those who like to have a home for their entertainment needs may still want a simple plug-and-play solution for their streaming habits. That's where the Foxtel Now box comes in.

What does the Foxtel Now Box do?

The Foxtel Now box is a small streaming box that looks somewhat like Google Home's younger sibling.

The Foxtel Now box is a plug-and-play device with HD streaming (for selected content), Chromecast support and houses streaming apps like Stan (subscription required), ABC iView and YouTube in addition to free-to-air TV (with a connect FTA aerial)(. The box also comes packaged with its own proprietary remote.

Foxtel Now itself offers up complete seasons of popular TV shows, live sports, movies and reality television.

How much does the Foxtel Now box cost?

The Foxtel Now box costs you $99 and can be purchased directly through Foxtel Now's official website.

Foxtel's eBay store and Kogan also sell the Foxtel Now box. While the price is unlikely to vary too much between providers, we'll keep this page updated with the latest pricing information.

It’s also worth noting you need a Foxtel Now subscription (and subscriptions to any other compatible streaming services).
