How do I make a claim with ICICI Lombard ?

If you need to file a claim, here are the steps to take to get the process started.

  • Get in touch. The first step is getting in touch with the insurer’s Assistance Service Provider (ASP) for guidance on how to get the process started. In the case of a medical emergency, the ASP will assist you with a cashless facility in the nearest hospital.
  • Provide evidence. Depending on the incident and the section under which it falls, you’ll be asked to supply documentation to support your claim. Besides medical and police reports, this can also include travel tickets, itineraries, luggage tags, proof of ownership and original receipts.
  • Be honest. You are obligated to provide all information required to facilitate the claims process and to be as honest and forthright as possible. Failure to disclose all the necessary information may result in your claim being dismissed or your policy being cancelled.
