Huda Beauty concealers and powder are coming and here’s how to buy them

Alexandra Hourigan 14 June 2018 NEWS

Huda Beauty is about to drop more holy grail products for your makeup bag.

UPDATE 07/09/18: Just the other week Huda Beauty confirmed the launch date for her upcoming concealers. Just this morning the shades and names were revealed and boy oh boy, they're good.

There are 20 concealer shades altogether and have a very good balance between light and dark shades. There are 8 dark shades, 8 pale shades and 4 medium shades. All in all, that's a pretty good spread.

The concealer formula is 31% pure pigment and consists of skincare actives like Persian silk tree, Jericho rose extract, green tea and caffeine to soothe and protect your skin. The cooling metal applicator will de-puff and soothe the undereye area as you apply and the finish is super natural-looking, but buildable to full coverage.

The concealer is set to launch on 8 October everywhere, according to @trendmood01, so expect to see it in-store and online at your local Sephora on that date or very close to!

UPDATE 30/08/18: We have a confirmed concealer date people. That's right. CONFIRMED.

Queen Huda Beauty has not only revealed her upcoming concealers are on the way but even gave us a date that we can expect to get our hands on it. The launch of the Huda Beauty foundation was such a big one that we're already counting down the days.

From the video uploaded to the @Hudabeauty Instagram story, the concealer looks pigmented as hell. With a full coverage formula and what looks to be a thicker consistency, we're already living for this product and we haven't even tried it yet. Huda used a brush to apply the concealer then continued to blend with a different brush.

The concealer comes in a black tube which means that this concealer doesn't actually come with an applicator from the looks of it. This means you can either use a blending brush or sponge or even your fingers to apply.

The concealer is set to launch on 8 October. You can shop Huda Beauty from our favourites over at Sephora. If the Huda Beauty foundation launch is anything to go by, we'd mark your calendars because these will 100% be a sell-out.

Update: It's official. Huda beauty concealers are on the way but that's not all.

With the release of Huda Kattan's facebook series Huda Boss (get it?), the beauty blogger revealed that the brand will also be launching a setting powder too!

The setting powder will launch in eight different shades ranging from a bright pale white to a deep brown. The packaging is very similar to Kim Kardashian's setting powder with a square base and circular pan.

The back of the product has a small break down of how to use the powder because let us be honest, we can't all be makeup artists. It says to pack the product under the eyes, t-zone, corners of the mouth and chin, leave for 3-5 minutes and then dust away the excess powder.

We're assuming that this formula of setting powder has been made in correspondence with the upcoming concealers, so these two products are about to be a match made in Huda heaven!

There will also be a dual-ended brush made available to purchase for the setting powder. One side of the brush is a flat and dense design for packing on the powder and the other is a fluffier design to dust away the excess.

A launch date for the setting powder and concealers has not yet been revealed but we have confirmation that they are on the way! If there is one thing we know about Huda it's that she doesn't wait too long between announcements and launches so we'll keep you updated with more info.

It's been a bit quiet from Huda Beauty lately. They had some back to back launches at the start of the year but we haven't heard much lately.

Without a doubt, the brand's biggest launch had to be the Faux Filter foundation. It became a fan favourite and even a beauty blogger holy grail with NikkiTutorials naming it the best foundation.

But what is a good foundation with an equally awesome concealer? Well Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, aims to please beauty lovers and shoppers with the newest upcoming product to the beauty line. Concealers!!

On 8 June, Allure reported that Huda Kattan would be releasing Huda Beauty concealers. Then the beauty blogger herself confirmed the news on her Facebook page.

"We've been working so hard on this concealer," she says in the one-minute teaser. "It's super high quality, super luxurious." While it's unknown when the concealers are launching exactly, Kattan herself confirmed in an Instagram post that one of the new products is launching very soon.

In the video, you can see Huda testing out the concealer and the high standard she places on them after running into a "streaking" and oxidisation issue. It's amazing to see this side of the brand to know that Huda Beauty doesn't turn a blind eye to these product issues and tackles them head-on. The video also shows concealers with an extensive shade range and we're definitely not surprised. After the enormous foundation shade range of the #fauxfilter foundation, we wouldn't expect anything less from Huda Beauty.

When and where can you buy it?

Huda Beauty's line is currently available at Sephora, so we can expect to see this latest addition on the shelves there soon.

Sephora releases are usually universal, so we're guessing we'll see the range either on the same day as the American release or soon after. You can also shop online at Cult Beauty who tend to receive stock a little earlier than Australian stores!
