How to watch Sydney Roosters vs Manly Sea Eagles NRL live and free

Posted: 13 March 2021 1:03 pm

In the battle of the birds, the Sydney Roosters host the Sea Eagles at the iconic SCG.

SUMMARY: Roosters vs Sea Eagles is exclusive to Fox League. If you're an existing Foxtel customer you're all set, otherwise your best option is to watch on Kayo Sports. You can watch for free using this 14-day trial. This gets you access to all its unique features and 50 additional live sports.

The Roosters will be bitterly disappointed in their exit from the finals last year when they went out in straight sets. That dashed their hopes of becoming the first team in the NRL era to win three premierships in a row.

This season the Roosters will again be one of the premiership favourites but they will have to do without their inspirational skipper Boyd Cordner. He will miss the first half of the season following a series of head knocks.

Manly have already been dealt a massive blow, with superstar fullback Tom Trbojevic suffering another hamstring injury in the pre-season. In a surprise move, Dylan Walker will replace Trbojevic in the number one jersey.

When is Roosters vs Manly?

This match kicks off at 5:30pm AEDT on Saturday 13 March at the SCG.

Sydney Roosters vs Manly Sea Eagles: Head-to-Head

Who will win Roosters vs Manly?

Halves Daly Cherry-Evans and the injury plagued Kieran Foran are together again, having guided Manly to the 2011 NRL premiership. Before Tom Trobjevic's latest hamstring injury, we would've given Manly a sneaky chance to cause an upset. Now we give them none.

The star-studded Roosters should have far too much class in every department.

It will be interesting to see how the Tricolours' halves Luke Keary and Lachlan Lam combine against the more experienced Cherry-Evans and Foran. Roosters by 18 points.
