What is Civitas Protocol?

Civitas Protocol is a community driven project built on the Ethereum blockchain. Governed by its native token, CVT, it uses a deflationary mechanism wherein every transaction including CVT applies a 2% absorption. That 2% absorption aims to reduce the total supply of CVT, thus increasing the price of every token in their network. The Civitas Protocol roadmap states they have been building a smart contract platform, which was due for release in Q1 2021, along with several other functionalities, such as liquidity pools, staking and farming.

  • Only one exchange listing. The protocol is only available on Uniswap, despite having been launched in December 2020.
  • Unfunded smart contract. The Civitas Protocol smart contract address contains zero funds at the time of writing this review.
