Where can I do hot air ballooning in Cairns?
Atherton Tablelands is currently the only place you can have a hot air balloon experience in Cairns.
What do I wear or bring?
Everything that is required for the flight will be provided. In regards to dressing, be sure to wear enclosed shoes (sneakers are a great option), a hat, sunscreen and casual clothing. It is recommended that you avoid wearing white as it may get dirty.
Are there any restrictions on who can fly?
Almost anyone is able to fly in a hot air balloon, you just have to be able to enter and exit the basket as well as stand for the duration of the flight. Women who are pregnant and anyone who has recently sustained a serious injury are not permitted to fly.
