Travel luxuriously on Cathay Pacific for less than another leading carrier.

Hong Kong is looking to be a hot destination for 2018 with both Cathay Pacific and Qantas launching sales to the destination this week.

But where Qantas is starting with fares from Sydney from $679 return, Cathay Pacific has pulled ahead of the race, coming up with flights on the same route from $639 return.

Your cheapest leg comes from Cathay Pacific with flights out of Melbourne or Perth starting from $604 return.

Unfortunately Qantas' routes are limited, sporting flights only out of Sydney and Brisbane, both of which come up slightly pricier than Cathay at $679 and $699 return respectively when booked through Flight Centre.

Cathay Pacific fares can be booked direct with the airline for these prices.

The range of travel dates is also better with Cathay Pacific, allowing you to take off anytime between now and 7 December 2018. By comparison, Qantas' travel dates are restricted to February to June.

Our suggestion? Travel closer to the end of the year when the weather is cooler as you'll want to avoid summer (June-August) as this is wet season.

This sale ends 16 January 2018, unless sold out prior. Look below for the full suite of sale flights or visit Cathay Pacific for more details and to book your trip now.
