2021 Honda EOFY offers

Honda says it powers dreams. If you dream about saving money, you're in luck.

As part of the end of financial year promotions, Honda is offering bonuses, longer warranties, complementary accessories and roadside assistance for free on some of the company's most popular models.

Why are Honda dealers selling cars off?
The dealers have sales targets to meet, so around this time they'll slash prices and include extras to shift unsold models. These may include 2020-model cars, ex-demos or Hondas with a less popular engine, gearbox or interior specifications.

Honda offers antibacterial interior treatment

Cars in the EOFY deals are treated with Honda's Antimicrobial Shield, a non-toxic interior sanitisation system. It's not a visible film and Honda says it kills 99.99% of bugs, while also helping reduce odours from pets and mould in the passenger compartment. It uses a "mechanical", water-based coating to eliminate germs, with Honda stating all currently known superbugs are susceptible to this treatment. It's also safe for use around children, with the product having a similar level of toxicity to vitamin C. It's hypoallergenic too, meaning it carries a low chance of causing a reaction.

What is a runout model?

It's simply the previous year's model. Though the car may have sat around for a while, you could save by purchasing a 2019-plate car as dealers need to get rid of them.

Compare car loans

Don't presume the dealer's finance offer is going to be the cheapest. Do your research by comparing car loans and get pre-approval, so you can negotiate like a pro.
