A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a clever little tool that has become very popular in recent years. If you haven’t heard of it, don’t worry, it’s easy to understand. Shirley, thanks for the article, but why use a VPN when you can use a DNS service like UnoTelly? The DNS option is much faster and easier to use.
Hey Benjiman,
You’re right, DNS does offer faster speeds for streaming content, whereas using a VPN is more about keeping your personal data safe from hackers/eavesdroppers. However, some providers, like Overplay, offer premium packages that give you a VPN and DNS. That way you’re both securely connected to the Internet no matter where you are and you’re able to smoothly stream content without any hiccups.
Thanks for the question,
Brodie
