Hedget is a decentralised options trading protocol designed for on-chain derivatives trading. By providing stablecoins or other cryptocurrency as collateral, users can buy and sell options on the Hedget platform. Hedget platform runs on the Chromia network, which is used as an Ethereum Layer 2 solution. This ensures lower transaction costs and faster speeds, with Ethereum only used for settlement. The Hedget token (HGET) is the network’s native token. An ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network, HGET is used to govern the platform. Sellers also need to stake their tokens to take part in option minting, while tokens can also be earned via liquidity mining.
