Hawaii flights from $405 return

Jetstar's Boxing Day sale took flight at the stroke of midnight yesterday with domestic flights from $29 each way.
Those seeking to spread their wings further were also graced with international flights at heavily discounted prices with one of the best being to Hawaii.
Starting from $405 return, a Honolulu getaway doesn't have to cost the earth when you cash in on this flash sale. You have until midnight 28 December to book them for less and when you do, you're looking to shave hundreds of dollars off your fare compared to booking a seat on a full-service airline like Qantas or Hawaiian Airlines where fares come in at $740+.
Routes available in this sale include Melbourne to Honolulu from $405 return, Sydney to Honolulu from $409 return and Hobart to Honolulu from $487 return.
Travel is available from May-September 2018, enabling sun seekers the chance to escape the Australian winter.
Flights can be booked at these prices through I Want That Flight although you'll need to get on it fairly quick as seats have already sold out for some dates.
How good are these fares?
At just over $400 return these are some of the cheapest fares we've seen available to Hawaii this year. One of the few times we've seen it fly lower was during Jetstar's birthday sale where fares dropped to $339 return with sale fares generally sitting closer to $500 return.
Weather-wise you're flying during the dry summer season, which runs from April to September. This is peak season though, so expect crowds and surge pricing, though with airfares this cheap, you're probably still winning in the end.
