Hawaii flights from $392 return
Jetstar takes flights to the US down a peg with fares better than its Boxing Day sale.
Didn't get enough beach time over the holidays? It's time to remedy that with some flights to Hawaii that are as cheap as chips or at least as cheap as flying across Australia.
To nab these fab prices, you'll have to book through I Want That Flight and fly with budget airline Jetstar.
For $392, you can fly from Sydney to Honolulu and back in September 2018 with more dates available from $428 return.
Other sample fares include Honolulu from Melbourne from $424, the Gold Coast from $536, Adelaide from $585 and Brisbane from $587.
Travel dates range from 15 February to 22 September 2018, giving you the chance to take off for a cheeky early-year break or a post-winter getaway.
These fares are on sale until 17 January or when tickets sell out.
How good are these fares?
The cheapest fares in this sale are lower than Jetstar's recent Boxing Day sale where fares started from $405 return. However, these were for very limited dates flying from Sydney and Melbourne. Sale fares departing from other cities usually sit around the $600 mark so this is slightly less than what we've seen in the past.
Travel is over the key dry season dates from April to September which will provide the most sunshine for your holiday. If you can find some dates during our suggested off-peak dates of April-May and September then you’ll also see better prices on accommodation and a rental car.
