Every Harry Potter film is going to be available to stream in Australia

Muggles will finally have access to the world of Hogwarts on their TVs again.
Picture Dumbledore rushing up to Harry Potter in this iconic scene, with a twist. "Harry, Harry is the only way to watch your movies in Australia still to rent or buy them?"
"No sir," Harry replies.
"Are you absolutely sure?"
"Yes sir."
That's right, just like Harry's name mysteriously ending up in the Goblet of Fire, the film franchise has mysteriously been missing from streaming services in Australia. But that's no longer the case with the entire Harry Potter franchise set to come to both BINGE and Foxtel.
When can I stream Harry Potter in Australia?
All eight Harry Potter films will first drop on Friday 15 January on Foxtel and Foxtel Now. They will then land on BINGE the following week on Thursday 21 January.
How can I watch Harry Potter in Australia?
As mentioned above, all eight films will be landing on Foxtel and Foxtel Now first. Old school Foxtel iQ is costly. To watch Harry Potter you'll need the mandatory Foxtel Plus pack and the Movies HD package which equates to $69 a month.
For Foxtel Now, you'll need the base Essentials package and Movies pack which costs $45 a month.
Both of these options are far more expensive than BINGE, but Foxtel Now does at least have a 10-day free trial for new customers.
Given that Harry Potter hasn't been on an Australian streaming service for at least 10 months, holding out just 6 more days shouldn't be too hard.
If you can manage to hold on then you'll be able to stream Harry Potter free for 14 days on BINGE.
Not only does BINGE have the benefit of a two-week free trial, but it's also far cheaper than Foxtel. BINGE costs just $10 per month or $14 monthly if you want HD and in 2021 how can you sit through anything other than HD at minimum?
On top of Harry Potter, BINGE has plenty of other franchises available such as The Fast and Furious, Transformers, Mission Impossible, Jurassic Park and Jaws.
Its more popular shows also include The Act, A Discovery of Witches and Euphoria. You can see the full list of BINGE shows here.
How long does it take to watch every Harry Potter film?
If you're one to set records or have nothing better to do, you could attempt to watch all of the films in one sitting. To do that you'd need to settle in for a solid 19 hours and 39 minutes.
- Philosophers Stone - 2 hours 32 mins
- Chamber of Secrets - 2 hours 41 mins
- Prisoner of Azkaban - 2 hours 22 mins
- Goblet of Fire - 2 hours 37 mins
- Order of the Phoenix - 2 hours 18 mins
- Half Blood Prince - 2 hours 33 mins
