Harley Quinn wears a raglan or baseball style red and white top with 'Daddy's Lil Monster' emblazoned across the front. If you have something like this already, awesome! If you don't, here are some affordable options. Don't be afraid to get it a little bit dirty for effect.
If you already have a pair of plain red or plain blue shorts, that can absolutely work. Just make sure the jacket you wear is the opposing colour, and BAM - you're Harley. So wear red shorts with a blue jacket or blue shorts with a red jacket. It's as easy as that.
Harley Quinn wears a red and blue bomber-style jacket. Luckily, bomber jackets are on trend right now so there are plenty of them to choose from! If you already have one in red or blue, just make sure you choose shorts in the opposing colour and it will totally work. Alternatively, there are loads of affordable options that you can wear again, plus some reasonably priced Harley Quinn jackets on eBay.
Harley isn't complete without fishnets! Any pair will do. You may have a pair lying around from a previous costume party, but there are pairs for under $15 on ASOS. Don't forget to draw on some of her iconic tattoos before you pop them on - it's a must!
Studded belts were all the rage in the early 2000s, especially if you were into Avril Lavigne and thought everything was just 'so complicated'. Raid your closet (or your teenage brother's!) for a chunky, studded skater belt - if not, pick up a cheap one on eBay.
Harley Quinn wears some crazy sneaker-esque heels. You can buy replicas on eBay if you're super-committed but since you're unlikely to wear them again it's not exactly an investment buy. A pair of regular sneakers or even white boots would absolutely work too.
You can get cheap jewellery sets from most of the major costume stores, or eBay has some affordable "PUDDIN" necklaces. Alternatively, just throw on some of the chunky gold jewellery you already own and improvise!
If you're blonde already, just pop in some pigtails and you're good to go! Extra points if you use a temporary dye to get the red and blue ends. If you're not a natural blonde, you might want to consider a wig - these places have cheap ones.
If you're struggling to find the perfect Suicide Squad Harley Quinn outfit, there are plenty of other options. Did you know that in the original games and comics, Harley actually wore all red and black? It's a lot easier to find these colours in your wardrobe, so if you're stuck just pop on some black lipstick, a black eye mask, red and black clothes, and you're ready to go!
Black Milk even have a collection designed around DC Comics that features some really cool original Harley Quinn style dresses and bodysuits (if you're willing to splurge). Our advice? Keep the pigtails, and don't forget to practice that iconic Harley accent.
