To celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rat, Gucci has just unveiled an exclusive Mickey Mouse themed collection. Walt Disney's most famous rodent is making his way into the spotlight and we love the pieces that the iconic fashion house has created.

The Mickey Mouse collection officially launches today, 3 January, in Hong Kong. It will be available in select Gucci stores worldwide. As there's no set release date for Australian stores, you're going to have to watch this space and stay posted on all things Gucci.

If you're looking to shop Gucci online, you can head on over to stockists like MATCHESFASHION, Farfetch and Net-A-Porter.

What's included in the Gucci x Mickey Mouse collection?

Gucci's collection features colourful prints and patterns, embroidered patches and jacquard motifs. If you're lucky enough to receive the items, you'll see a green label reading "Disney x Gucci" and you can keep the funky packaging.

The range offers women's and men's ready-to-wear pieces like t-shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, denim, knitwear and jersey.

What else? You can also take your pick from the collection of footwear, small leather goods, scarves jewellery and timepieces. The signature Gucci icons are mixed and matched with the loveable cartoon character.

One of our favourite items has got to be the new Mini GG Supreme. The beige and ebony canvas arrives with a special Mickey Mouse print and we are obsessed. It's finished off with protective coating, that way the whole design looks glossy and pretty. Similar material has been used on the sneakers, slippers and other small leather goods.
