Get your Greek on with cheap flights to Athens from four Aussie cities.

We might still be enjoying 28°C days around most parts of the country but we know in our hearts that winter is coming.

Flight Centre is helping us to ease our worries with sale fares to Sydney that will brighten up any cold, winter day with sale fares to Greece from $678 return with Scoot.

The budget airline has flights to Athens from Perth down to $678 return, from Gold Coast from $718, Melbourne from $758 and Sydney from $953 return.

Just remember that Scoot is a budget airline so you'll need to pay extra for checked bags and other extras like entertainment and in-flight meals.

How good are these fares?

Scoot never fails to disappoint with discounted fares to Athens and it usually has some of the cheapest flights from Australia.

When on sale, fares can get as low as $566 return, though you'll usually find fares around the $700 mark, making this not too shabby a sale if you’re flying from Perth, Gold Coast or Melbourne.

If you’re flying from Sydney then you're paying about $150 more than the usual sale fare but they’re still the cheapest prices we could find for the same travel period.

Travel dates also cross over one of the best times to visit Greece for a relaxing trip without the crowds but with sunny days and warm weather.
