How do I apply for Greater Building Society travel insurance?

  • Compare policy options. Your choice of policy will depend on your travel plans, your travel party and the amount of cover you’d like for your journey.
  • Receive an online quote. You can get a quote on the Allianz website and then purchase the policy directly online.
  • Read the product disclosure statement (PDS). Everything you need to know about the policies is detailed in the PDS. Read up on the contract’s terms to make sure that it meets your travel insurance expectations.
  • Check out any additional options available. If you need additional cover, make sure the policy you choose can be upgraded with optional extras to insure things like pre-existing medical conditions or specific luggage.

How do I make a claim with Greater Building Society?

  1. Get in touch. If you have a claim related to medical, additional expenses, cancellation, luggage, personal effects and rental vehicle, you can fill in the online claim form. For other claims, you’ll have to download and fill in the claims form.
  2. Provide information. You’ll be asked to supply evidence to support your claim. Depending on the nature of the incident, this may include medical reports, police reports, proof of ownership, travel tickets, itineraries and receipts. Provide as complete a dossier as possible to expedite the process.
  3. Don’t admit liability. Refrain from admitting that an incident is your fault or offering to make any payment as a settlement. Consult with Allianz before making any kind of compensation to the other party.
