What are the closest airports to the Gold Coast?

The closest airport to the Gold Coast is the Gold Coast Airport (formerly known as Coolangatta Airport). Brisbane Airport is also an hour away by car.

What airport transfer options are available?

Private and shared airport transfers can be arranged in advance with Viator or Jayride for a smooth arrival and departure, with direct connections between the airport and your accommodation.

Ubers, the Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle and Translink's rail network are all available from Gold Coast Airport. Car rental desks are available close to the arrivals hall.

If you’re arriving at Brisbane Airport, the Gold Coast is one hour on the M1. Car hire is available from outside the main terminal. The Brisbane Airtrain also offers a direct line to the Gold Coast and will get you there in just under two hours. Door-to-door shuttle bus services are also available.
