Save on Singapore Airlines flights until the end of April.

If you’ve been hoarding your Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles, now might be the right time to redeem them for a flight. This is because until 30 April 2018, you can save with a 30% discount if you book your flight with KrisFlyer Miles.

This KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes offer is available for flights to more than 30 destinations across the Singapore Airlines and SilkAir network. You can also enjoy the discount on flights if your booking involves multiple cities. However, this discount only applies to travel to or from Australia between 1 May and 31 May 2018. Blackout dates also apply, so make sure to keep a look out for these when you’re booking.

You can take advantage of the discount if you follow these steps:

  • Log in with your KrisFlyer membership number and PIN.
  • Select "Book a Flight" on your dashboard.
  • Choose "Redeem flights" and select your travel details including the departure, destination and travel dates.

The 30% discount will be applied to the booking summary panel once the flights have been selected.

To give you an example, you can redeem a return Economy flight from Brisbane to Singapore for 39,200 miles (19,600 miles each way) during the promotional period. According to the KrisFlyer Miles calculator, this would usually set you back 56,000 miles. If you prefer Business Class, you’d need 81,200 miles for this same flight (which would usually cost you 116,000 miles).

If you have some KrisFlyer Miles saved and are planning on flying with Singapore Airlines next month, this is an easy way to travel further for less with your miles. If not, keep an eye out as Singapore Airlines run similar offers throughout the year. For example, KrisFlyer ran a similar 30% discount offer for its frequent flyers in March this year.
