eb-games-header

The name says it all: EB Games is home to all things video games.

Originally known as Electronics Boutique, EB Games is one of the last dedicated brick-and-mortar video game retailers still operating in Australia. From the founding of its inaugural New South Wales store back in 1997, the retailer has since expanded to over 380 locations nationwide.

What does EB Games sell?

Video games are what EB Games is all about, with everything from the latest PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch titles to pre-owned copies of PS3, Xbox 360 and even original DS and Wii games. The retailer also stocks both new and second-hand console hardware along with plenty of controllers, peripherals and accessories from official and unofficial brands.

Besides video games, EB Games sells what it calls Loot. This consists primarily of pop-culture merchandise and memorabilia. From Overwatch comic books to Batman T-shirts to Star Wars Funko Pops, there's just as much variety to the Loot as there is to the video games.

What currency does the EB Games website use?

The EB Games website lists all prices in Australian dollars.

— Shipping and returns

EB Games uses Australia Post's eParcel service to ship to any address within Australia.

How much does EB Games charge for delivery?

Delivery costs typically range from $3.50 per item for standard shipping to $6.00 per item for express shipping. Bulkier items and pre-owned stock that has to be shipped from a particular EB Games store will incur additional shipping charges. These charges vary from item to item.

How long does EB Games take to deliver?

If your order is in stock, EB Games will process it within two business days and send you a delivery estimate based on your chosen shipping method. Standard deliveries typically arrive within five business days, while express deliveries usually arrive within two business days.

Does EB Games offer click and collect?

EB Games offers a "Pick Up @ Store" option for certain products, letting you reserve a product online without having to pay extra to have it delivered. After placing your order and selecting a store to pick it up from, you'll be notified by EB Games when your order is ready to collect. Only the person who placed the order, or a person nominated at the time of placing the order, is authorised to collect it.

You will also need both photo ID and a copy of your order confirmation for verification purposes when collecting your order. If you fail to collect your order within six weeks, EB Games reserves the right to cancel it.

What is EB Games' returns policy?

If you receive a damaged or faulty item from EB Games, you'll need to contact the retailer within seven days of receiving the item and return it in brand-new condition to either your local store or via post. If EB Games verifies the damage wasn't caused through misuse, you'll be eligible for a refund, exchange or repair.

Can I return an order if I change my mind?

Provided it's within seven days of purchase, you have a valid receipt and the item you purchased is in saleable condition with all the original packaging, EB Games will accept returns based on you changing your mind. The only items excluded from this policy are gift cards, headphones and online games or games requiring an activation code to play.
