This week’s game deals: Up to 60% off at PlayStation Store

Thomas Duff 8 August 2016

This week, Fallout 4 and Rare Replay are offered to gamers at a massive discount.

We have scoured the depths of the internet for the best deals on the games you love. This week, Fallout 4, Rare Replay and The Witcher 3 are all on special.

Playstation 4

Here are the week's best gaming deals for PlayStation 4 in Australia.

Fallout 4

It’s time to wander around a desolate wasteland filled with radioactive cockroaches, radioactive mutants, and other radioactive beasties. Simply put, everything is radioactive.

Fallout 4 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Fallout 3, obviously. Much hasn’t changed between the two titles. The crux of the experience, wandering around a wasteland, collecting items, and shooting things, is still there and still as fun as ever.

Now, you can explore the wasteland without breaking the bank. JB Hi-Fi is currently selling Fallout 4 for only $29.00.

Winter Sale

In case you have been living under a well-heated rock, winter is here. Sony knows that during this time of year, gamers prefer to be at home, rugged up, and playing plenty of video games.

On the PlayStation store, Sony is currently holding its Winter Sale. A wide variety of games, from action to horror, are going through massive price drops. Bloodborne is 43% off, Just Cause 3 is 60% off, and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is 75% off.

To access this sale, all you need to do is sign into the PlayStation Store.

Xbox One

Here are the week's best game deals for Xbox One in Australia.

Rare Replay

I miss you, Rare. You made such good games and now, nothing. Luckily, Microsoft's purchase of the once-beloved company at least resulted in the Rare Replay compilation.

Now, instead of searching eBay and paying a ridiculous amount of money for these classic titles, you can find them in one place. 30 of Rare’s greatest titles, including Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Snake Rattle N Roll and god-damn Conkers Bad Fur Day, are all included.

Ozgameshop is currently selling Rare Replay for $19.99.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

One of the most anticipated games of 2015 was The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and, judging by its reception amongst critics and gamers alike, it lived up to those expectations.

Players assume the role of Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter known as a Witcher, who must journey through the large landscape of the Northern Kingdoms. in search of his surrogate daughter, Ciri.

Players will strike their foes down with a combination of swords and magic, and experience an immersive narrative that’s reminiscent of Game of Thrones.

Ozgameshop is currently selling The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for $29.00, which is a saving of $3.00. Though the saving is minimal, Ozgameshop is still cheaper than most other retailers.
