G Adventures introduces its first ever Hawaii and Oman trips
See what the big deal is for yourself.
G Adventures has seen a 67% year on year increase in requests for Middle East trips, as well as plenty of requests for more options around the USA.
It aims to please, and so has now unveiled two new destinations to suit; Hawaii and Oman.
"Oman is one of the best kept secrets in this part of the world and is often described as the Switzerland of the Middle East because of its independence," explains Sofia Montezo, G Adventures Middle Easy product manager. "It’s a beautiful mix of ancient history and modern living."
Oman has been increasingly known as a top holiday destination, largely because of the "ancient history" corollary to the "modern living" side of things.
The new tour takes the form of an approximately week-long highlights reel, running for 8 days and including a trip to cultural and historic sites like the Grand Mosque, Bait Al Zubair Museum and the historic souk in Muttrah, Muscat.
You'll also get in touch with nature at the Wahiba Sands desert, the Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve and the immense Wadi Nakhr canyon.
To book: Going from $2,799 for the full tour, you can check out the full itinerary and make bookings here at G Adventures.
"For years our travellers have been asking for trips to Hawaii," said Scott Fuller, G Adventures North America product coordinator. "We’re incredibly excited to introduce the new program and show travellers another side of Hawaii."
The other side in question is everything that lies beyond most bus tours and resort vacations. Hawaii is probably best known for its surf spots and tropical resort atmosphere, but there are plenty of cultural, historical, geographical and wildlife experiences as well, for those who care to seek them out.
With its reputation for sustainable, respectful and adventurous off-the-beaten-path trips, it's safe to say that G Adventures cares enough.
Your tour here includes sunset sailings, volcano walks, a traditional luau and much more.
There are several options available, with 8 day multi-island trips going from $3,499 and a big 15 day multi-island adventure going from Waikiki to Kailua-Kona, from $7,299.
