Can a temporary resident apply for funeral insurance while staying on a bridging visa, which allows him for an indefinite period to live and work in Australia?

      Hello Shams,

      Thank you for your comment.

A non-resident or temporary resident can still get cover, but applications are accepted or denied on a case by case basis.

Some conditions to watch out for are:

      – You will need to be intending to stay in Australia
      – Additional policy exclusions may apply for non-residents

Kindly refer to this page for more details about the funeral insurance for non-residents.
