Nightlife, shopping sprees and so much food.

Sorry, this sale is no longer running. Check our list of current flight sales to find a bargain!

Hong Kong offers an explosion of shopping opportunities and foodie experiences - and right now Virgin Australia is taking you there for a steal.

Fares start from $599 return when departing from Melbourne, with tickets from other major cities not too far behind. Fly in from Sydney and you'll pay as little as $696 return, fly in from Perth to snap up $699 return fares or take off from Brisbane for $706 return.

To score these great prices, you'll have to travel from 17 October-22 November, 29 January-8 February or 3-15 March.

As you'd expect, flights during peak periods, including Christmas and Chinese New Year (mid-February) aren't included in this sale. However, flying in the off-season does mean they'll be less crowds to contend with. October to mid-December is also an ideal time to holiday in Hong Kong, offering sunny, clear skies and weather that's appealing for outdoor activities such as hiking.

The last notable sale to Hong Kong on a full-service airline saw Qantas drop fares to $533 return on trips from October to November 2017. So while these are slightly more expensive, they do offer a wider range of dates which might work out better for your plans.

As Virgin Australia is a full-service carrier, checked luggage as well as in-flight entertainment and on-board meals are included in your fare.

This sale landed this morning, making now as good a time as any to grab the cheapest flights and the best dates.

The promotion ends midnight 14 August 2017 unless sold out prior.
