Full service Europe flights from $839 return

Take off from Melbourne to 4 top European cities with Air China.

Just yesterday Air China slogged fares to Greece down to $859 giving budget airline Scoot a run for its money. Now, the 3-star, full-service airline is at it again giving Melbournians the deal of a lifetime with flights to not one, not two, but FOUR European cities from just $839 return.

No fare runs higher than $875 return and all are for travel in spring and the beginning of summer, letting you enjoy the peak season for a fraction of the price.

Specifically the flights are:

  • Melbourne - Barcelona from $839
  • Melbourne - Milan from $855
  • Melbourne - Athens from $859
  • Melbourne - Rome from $875

Sure, you have to be in Melbourne to start your journey, but you can always scour the travel agents, such as Flight Centre or STA Travel for cheap flights to and from Melbourne to connect onto these beauties.

Eligible travel dates for those of you looking to put your annual leave in ASAP are between 2 February and 20 June 2018 with bookings being taken through STA Travel until 31 May.

You know the drill.

How good are these fares?

Any flights to Europe under $1,000 return is a good deal in our eyes, so flights this close to $800 return is a steal.

The only time you're likely to do better is by catching budget airline flights such as Scoot up to Athens or Berlin. These can fall as low as $597 but when you tack on baggage, in-flight meals and entertainment, the price tag gets mighty close so you may as well sort it all out with a full-service airline like Air China and be stress-free.

They're also super low for peak season dates, which can cost double, if not more, during the height of peak season (July and August) and when booked too close to the wire.

You can browse and book these flights and more via STA Travel online.
