Free Gran Turismo Sport demo goes live tonight

Rev your engines and get racing early with this limited-time demo.

If you're looking to get a head start on the competition in the upcoming racing sim Gran Turismo Sport, you'll want to set your alarm clock for 8:00pm tonight AEST as a limited-time free demo for the game is set to drop on PlayStation Store.

Available to play for four days only, the GT Sport demo will offer a taste of the game's three main modes: the competitive Sport mode, the RPG-style Campaign mode and the pure racing action of the Arcade mode.

Most importantly, progress you make in the demo will carry forward to the full game, with the ability to kickstart your GT Sport career with up to one million in-game credits and eight personalised garage vehicles. You'll also be able to take the game's livery editor for a spin, designing your own custom logos to make your cars feel truly your own.

The limited-time demo kicks off at 8:00pm tonight and runs through until 12:30am Friday 13 October. The full Gran Turismo Sport experience, meanwhile, will launch on 18 October exclusively on PS4.
