I want to trade shares with my SMSF. What are the registration requirements?

      Hi Jacko,

      Thanks for your question.

You’ll need to indicate the type of SMSF, preferred Superfund name, trustee type, bank account details, your broker, number of trustees and your personal contact details.

You can apply to setup an FP Markets Account only once your SMSF is established.

      Hope this helps.

As an occasional trader with a fairly large established portfolio I would like to trade occasionally.
Do I have to subscribe to CHESS? Or can all trades be SRN’s? I prefer not to get into a CHESS system.
Are phone trades also at the same price as on line trades? What is the minimum charge for a phone trade?

      Hi Dimitry,

      Thanks for your enquiry.

When trading with FP Markets, you do not have to subscribe to CHESS and all trades can be done via SRNs.

There is no charge for over the phone trades, however to get a position they do have a minimum trade value of $500 but if you already have a position, then there is no minimum amount that you need to trade over the phone.
