Coming into 2020, Lewis Hamilton and his all-conquering Mercedes team had some momentous F1 records in their sights. Despite some major coronavirus interruptions, Hamilton duly secured his record-equalling seventh world title, moving alongside Michael Schumacher on the all-time list.

He also surpassed Schumacher's 91 career wins, ending the season on 95 victories as the Briton continues to set new benchmarks in the glamour sport. So what lies ahead in 2021?
