Coming into 2020, Lewis Hamilton and his all-conquering Mercedes team had some momentous F1 records in their sights. Some can still be achieved, but it will take an incredible effort in the revamped, post-covid schedule.

Hamilton won his third consecutive world championship in 2019 and sixth overall, moving him within a single title of Michael Schumacher's all-time mark. The Briton also entered 2020 on 84 career race wins, just 7 behind Schumacher's record haul of 91. There are currently 13 races scheduled for 2020, with more potentially to be added.

If the season had gone ahead as planned, it would have involved 22 Grands Prix, making it the longest ever.
