Thai Airways has just added Vienna to its extensive European network. To celebrate, it has spun up a sale to the Austrian capital that has us singing its praises.

First flights take off on 16 November 2017, though the cheapest fares of $992 return are for various flight dates in the new year. Specifically, the cheapest flights are from February-March 2018 and May-June 2018, which is likely due to the peak holiday period that comes with the end of the year.

However, these months aren't something to shake your head at as travelling in them can fuel your need to see Europe blanketed in white (February and March) or warming up for summer (May and June).

The $992 price tag is on journeys from Perth, though you can still bag a bargain when flying out of another Aussie city. For example, flights out of Melbourne start at $1,067 return, flights out of Brisbane start at $1,078 return and out of Sydney from $1,085 return.

As far as price goes, these are up there with some of the best you can snap up for flights to Europe on an all-inclusive airline. You only have to turn to Qatar Airways to see that a European flight close to the $1,000 mark is a good deal.

There's no set date for this promotion to end, though at these prices we're not expecting them to stick around for too long. Use the search bar below to browse for flights or hit up online booking agent Skyscanner to find the best possible price for your date range.
