In two sentences or less, describe your product or service.

StockLight is Australia's premier investing app for tracking your stock portfolio and researching investing ideas. It's available for iPhone, iPad and Android and will send you time-sensitive push notifications when relevant events occur related to stocks in your watchlist.

What has been the company's biggest milestone to date?

Helping track over $1 billion in Australian user portfolios was a pretty big one last year. We help mum and dad investors better understand their true performance in terms of their annualised returns through our portfolio tool. Unlike brokers and industry participants who make commission off trades, this annualised performance acts in an investor's best interest to let them know whether they are outperforming or underperforming the index, an important check for all actively managed money.

What’s your most useful advice for having a productive day?

Sleep, exercise and not putting anything off. Starting the day with a task list and sticking to it is my best way to be productive.

Where do you see the company in 12 months?

Based on our current audience and trajectory, StockLight will continue to be in use by a very sizeable and growing chunk of Australian investors. In 12 months' time, hopefully, we will also have the bandwidth to ramp up our international offerings for overseas users in different markets.

Which book has had the most influence on your professional mindset?

StockLight's ratio system was inspired by The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. He was Warren Buffett's mentor and the book formed not only the basis for Buffett's approach but also the foundation for a lot of the underlying algorithms that our platform is based on.
