In two sentences or less, describe your product or service. is revolutionising how people buy and sell US listed shares in Australia. Stake makes accessing global markets simpler, cheaper and more enjoyable.

What has been the company's biggest milestone to date?

Empowering Australians with access to global investment opportunities at the click of a button. We have created something truly special in the investing space, and after 12+ months of development, launching this innovative investment platform has certainly been the highlight of 2017 for the team at Stake.

We have created a full banking ecosystem where customers can buy or sell what they want with just a few clicks, at rates which are the cheapest in the marketplace. We’re really proud to have partnered with market leading companies such as Macquarie Bank, OFX and Sanlam to give Australians world class access to global investing.

What’s your most useful advice for having a productive day?

Turn your phone off and say no to meetings. I can improve in both!

Where do you see the company in 12 months?

Our focus is on delivering great products at a compelling price. That will always be our focus. With that in mind, we’ll soon be adding a $0 brokerage plan and opening the platform up to various account types (SMSF, Trusts and company accounts). We also have plans of launching into several other markets globally.

Which book has had the most influence on your professional mindset?

Oh, the places you’ll go! by Dr Suess. Stay positive, be humble and ride the bumps. It applies to every facet of life of which work is a big part.
