In two sentences or less, describe your product or service.

We help people make better decisions about their money. We want them to know we always have their back – we are always with them, always working to keep them on track and always scouring the market looking for ways to save them money and help them live a better life.

What has been the company's biggest milestone to date?

In late 2016 we relaunched the MoneyBrilliant apps across iOS, Android and browser platforms with a fresh new look and a focus on providing customers with proactive insights and suggestions about changing the way they spent their money. This was a turning point for us and was the start of the massive growth we’ve experienced over the past couple of years.

What’s your most useful advice for having a productive day?

There are three important things to a productive day – a good cup of coffee, a list of things to do and a clear sense of what you can do that will have the greatest impact on the greatest number of people.

Where do you see the company in 12 months?

We are growing really quickly now so in 12 months we will have more than doubled our customers again and be a trusted source of help for even more Australians.

We will be providing people help in new areas such as retirement, debt management and estate planning.

We also hope to be at the forefront of exciting new initiatives like Open Banking and the Consumer Data Right as these profound changes sweep through Australian industries.

Which book has had the most influence on your professional mindset?

It's an old one now, but The Effective Executive by Peter Drucker, first published in 1966 I think. It should be compulsory reading for all managers and business leaders. I’ve given copies to almost all the people I’ve coached or mentored during my career.
