In two sentences or less, describe your product or service.

Funding.com.au is a peer-to-peer mortgage lender that provides real-estate secured loans to borrowers and attractive mortgage investments to investors.

What has been the company's biggest milestone to date?

The release of our peer-to-peer investor platform. Funding.com.au is the first Australian start-up to register a peer-to-peer mortgage platform for retail investors and being fully licensed for consumer credit.

The platform was released last year and holds an impressive advantage over market competitors. Unlike other prominent Australian peer-to-peer lenders offering unsecured investments, loans issued by funding.com.au are backed by mortgages over Australian real estate.

Once an investor has signed up, they can select, invest and manage their investments via funding.com.au’s online platform.

What’s your most useful advice for having a productive day?

Wake up early. Whether you exercise, or just start planning your day, you’re already ahead of the pack.

Where do you see the company in 12 months?

A bigger and better version of its current self. We are planning to raise some capital shortly to increase growth, and number of users on the platform.

Which book has had the most influence on your professional mindset?

"Shoe Dog" by Phil Knight, the founder of Nike. A great read about building one of the world’s most iconic, game-changing brands – and the founder’s hurdles along the way.
