Looking back at 2017 all we can say is thank you... for the amazing products we discovered and fell in love with!

To be completely honest, I have absolutely no idea where 2017 went. I probably sound like everyone else, but on the last day of the year what better thing to do than look at all the top-notch products the year produced?

Even though this year whizzed by, it didn't do so without us finding some pretty amazing products that we'll definitely take with us through to 2018. Whilst some were 2017 releases and others were discoveries, these are the items to know about. From fashion, to perfume, cosmetics and more, these are the hands-down best products 2017 had to offer – and trust us, they are pure treasure.

1.Windsor Smith Idina heels

Where to buy: Windsor Smith

As we mentioned in our best and worst fashion trends for 2017, red was massive this year. Whether it was clothes, shoes or other accessories, this colour was a feature in many wardrobes!

Personally, I jumped onto the red shoe trend quickly and didn't look back. Plus, these Windsor Smith Idina heels are not only gorgeous but with a modest heel, I can wear them all night and not get sore feet syndrome.

2. Fenty Beauty Foundation

Where to buy: Sephora

Probably one of the most-talked-about releases this year was Rihanna's Fenty Beauty debut, and the standout piece of this collection has to be the foundation.

Coming in a range of 42 shades, I was able to colour match more precisely than ever before and my skin has never looked better.

3. Princess Polly Elk Bikini

Where to buy: Princess Polly

This bikini has 100% been my go-to through the warmer months.

In 2017 the high-waisted and high-leg bikinis definitely came back into fashion and I'm pretty happy about it. The cut is not only super-flattering but works well for multiple body shapes! If you're suffering from not knowing what swimwear suits your body shape, this bikini is a strong contender.

4. Arizona Birkenstock

Where to buy: THE ICONIC

Okay, so when it comes to Birkenstocks, it's a love or hate kind of relationship. However, it's safe to say I love them, and I'm not the only one who does either.

These bad boys were the top-selling and most popular shoe on THE ICONIC for 2017 and I can completely see why. They're incredibly good quality and also comfortable and supportive. Personally, I roll my foot in and never noticed before I put these on, and the natural built-in orthotic helped more than I can say.

Before you hate, just try it because once you go Birkenstock... you never go back.

5. Brixton Fiddler Cap

Where to buy: Princess Polly

I wasn't the biggest hat person to start, but when I saw this baby floating around Instagram, I had to try it.

Safe to say, the Brixton Fiddler cap has to be one my of favourite purchases from 2017 because not only does it go with every single outfit that it's paired with but it saves me from every single bad hair day without fail.

6. 'ICONIC' Slogan T-shirt

Where to buy: PrettyLittleThing

Let it be known, 2017 was the year I fell in love with slogan t-shirts. Not only are they super-comfortable but they let out a little bit of a sassy side that I can seriously get around.

This PrettyLittleThing t-shirt was really affordable and constantly on sale. For the price, it's a bargain and fairly good quality too!

7. MAC Spice lip liner

Where to buy: David Jones and MECCA

Now, this product didn't come out in 2017, but rather the 90s. Even so, this treat has been a best-seller from MAC for years and it made a massive comeback this year.

It could be the whole Kylie Jenner lips trend or just people recognising this liner is one of the best out there, but it's safe to say it's worth the money. I'm a sucker for a lighter lip and tend to over-draw my lips, so it's safe to say this liner is more than fit for the job.

8. Angular Monogrammed Tote Bag

Where to buy: Mon Purse

You really can't go wrong with a black tote bag. However, with the monogramming trend that came in full steam this year, these amazing wardrobe necessities got a whole lot better.

This Mon Purse bag is your classic tote bag with a twist. Made from European leather it looks and feels like heaven, and has pretty much become a secondary extension of my right arm.

9. Giorgio Armani Si Perfume

Where to buy: Myer

"Si is my tribute to modern femininity, an irresistible combination of grace, strength and independent
spirit." states Giorgio Armani, and who couldn't support that?

This perfume was originally given to me as a gift in April and I've already gone through three. It can be either a day or night time perfume, and honestly would suit anyone. Even if it's just a tester, I would highly recommend giving this perfume a red-hot go.

polka dot culottes

10. Polka dot culottes

Where to buy: Dissh

Now whilst polka dots were another one of our favourite 2017 fashion trends, one that we didn't mention was culottes. I love them. If I could marry every pair of culottes I would. However, in choosing my favourites, these polka dot culottes from Dissh take the cake.

They're high-waisted, therefore automatically flattering, and although they're white they're made with thicker material than other ridiculously see-through white articles of clothing.
