We've got a killer lineup for points chasers in this week's Rewards Roundup. We'll show you how you can collect up to 40% bonus Qantas Points, save 25% on Qantas Classic Rewards flights and score a bonus 250 Qantas Points just for downloading an app. AccorHotels members can grab their share of 3 million bonus points when booking their next hotel stay and American Express cardholders can enjoy a mixed bag of exclusive perks during Vivid Sydney.
Collect up to 40% bonus Qantas Points when your transfer your credit card reward points
It’s that time again for one of Qantas’ credit card rewards bonus points offers. This time, though, cardholders can look forward to 25% to 40% bonus Qantas Points when they transfer their card rewards to their frequent flyer account.
There are some conditions, though. The offer is available until 30 June and if you transfer up to 1,249,999 points, you’ll collect 25% bonus points. However, points balances of 1,250,000 points and beyond that will score the whopping 40% bonus.
While there are plenty of direct earn Qantas frequent flyer credit cards on the market, there are limited options for cardholders who want to transfer their card rewards to Qantas Points. At the moment, the Westpac Altitude Business Platinum and Business Gold cards and the American Express Platinum charge card are available. You can also transfer your credit card rewards from CitiBusiness Gold Visa card to Qantas Points, although this card isn’t available to new applicants.
Save 25% points on Qantas Classic Rewards flights
You can book your next holiday for less when you pay for it with Qantas Points this week. If you book a flight by 29 May 2017, you’ll need 25% fewer points than normal. So, instead of paying 128,000 points for a European return, you'll only need 96,000.
The flights need to be booked for Economy travel between 18 July 2017 and 6 May 2018. While all regular Qantas destinations are eligible, it’s important to remember that Rewards flights are subject to availability. You still need to fork out for airport fees and taxes, but 25% off is a major discount and a pretty decent way to spend those points you’ve been saving.

Download the Qantas app for 250 bonus Qantas Points and go in the draw to win a $3,000 travel voucher
If you’re a Qantas Frequent Flyer, you can use the Qantas app to track your points balance and status credits and discover a feed to explore offers tailored to your interest. If you have a holiday on the horizon, you can also use the app to book flights, check-in and receive alerts for departure gate, boarding time, baggage carousel and more.
Plus, if you download the app before 4 June 2017, you can uncover 250 bonus points that the airline has sneakily hidden in your feed. The location of the points will vary between frequent flyers, but we managed to find it pretty easily within the app feed (as you can see in the image on the right). Plus, if you download the app and fill in the entry form before 31 July 2017, you’ll also go into the draw to win a $3,000 travel voucher.
While 250 Qantas Points isn’t a massive bonus and your chances of scoring the voucher are up to Lady Luck, it’s not a bad little perk for downloading a free app!
Win your share of 3 million reward points with AccorHotels
If you book a stay at participating AccorHotels properties across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Islands of Tahiti before 23 October 2017, you’ll collect your share of 3 million reward points that are up for grabs.
