Win your way to Singapore with flybuys points plus pay

flybuys is offering its members extra incentive to use points plus pay when redeeming rewards this month. If you use points plus pay to redeem rewards online via the flybuys rewards store, you’ll automatically go into the draw to win 1 of 11 prizes. The big prize is a trip to Singapore for two, including two return airfares to Singapore plus five nights of accommodation in a five-star hotel. The runners up will score 1 of 10 DeLonghi Coffee Machines worth $349 each. The winners will be drawn on 19 May 2017 and will be published on the flybuys website on 26 May 2017.

So whether you don’t have enough points to redeem your dream reward or you just don’t want to blow all of your points in one go, you could get even more bang for your buck when you use points plus pay to redeem your next reward. Good luck!

Win a Samsung 55-inch QLED TV with flybuys

Samsung fans rejoice! If you redeem your flybuys points or use points plus pay to redeem any Samsung product from the rewards store by 14 May 2017, you’ll automatically go into the draw to win a Samsung 55-inch QLED television. Valued at $4,999, there is only one Samsung TV up for grabs. But you’ve got to be in it to win it, so get shopping!

Collect bonus points on car rentals, hotel accommodation and experiences with AMEX Membership Rewards

Do you have a holiday coming up this year? If you’re also an American Express cardholder, you could look forward to earning bonus points on your holiday expenses. AMEX is offering Membership Rewards members 1 additional bonus point for every dollar they spend booking car rentals, accommodation and experiences through American Express Travel.

It’s an easy way to pick up some extra points and you won’t be strapped for choice when comparing ways to collect bonus points. For example, some of American Express’s partnered hotels include Four Seasons, Sheraton and Adina Apartments. You can browse the full range of ways to earn extra points on the American Express Travel website, but make sure to book by 31 December 2017 to collect your bonus Membership Rewards.

Get up to 20,000 bonus Qantas Points with your Qantas Cash Card

Qantas Cash is rewarding cardholders with 1 bonus point for every for every dollar greater than or equal to $2,500 that you load and convert to a foreign currency. You’ll earn 1 Qantas Point per $1 beyond the minimum load of $2,500 up to 20,000 Qantas Points.

While you’ll usually collect points when you spend with Qantas Cash, this isn’t a bad way to collect bonus points just for topping up your card. It’s important to remember, though, that loading the card with Australian dollars won’t earn you any points. You’ll need to register for the promotion and convert your AUD into one of the supported foreign currencies to pick up the bonus points. Available until 30 April 2017, this could be an easy way to pick up some extra points if you have an Easter holiday planned.

After receiving the news that Qantas Cash is changing how many points cardholders can earn per $1 as of 1 July 2017, this is good news for cardholders who want to maximise their rewards with the prepaid travel card.

Triple your Velocity Points and get 15% off your next stay with Crown Hotels

Book your next holiday stay at a Crown Hotel to earn bonus Velocity Points and save on hotel costs. If you book a stay with Melbourne or Perth Crown Hotels by 16 April 2017, you’ll get 15% off the best available rate plus triple the Velocity Points as a bonus. Velocity frequent flyers can usually collect 3 Velocity Points per $1 spent at Crown Hotels, so you’ll earn 12 points per dollar spent while this promotion is in place. To get the points, make sure you book your stays between now and 30 June 2017.

Earn points searching on Bing and shopping online with Microsoft Rewards

Microsoft customers can now earn points as they shop and search with the launch of the Microsoft Rewards program this week. The new loyalty program allows you to earn points when searching with Bing (3 points per search), browsing with Microsoft Edge and making purchases at the Xbox Store, the Windows Store and the Microsoft Store online (1 point per $1 spent). Plus, you can collect bonus points when you take daily quizzes and tours on the Microsoft Rewards website.

You can join Microsoft Rewards for free via the website and will be rewarded with 50 bonus points when you take the Microsoft Rewards tour to learn how the loyalty program works. It's important to note that you can only earn points up to $20,000 in spending per year. While this points cap might not impede the average Microsoft customer, it could be a limitation if you’re using your account to earn points on business purchases.

You can redeem your Microsoft Rewards points for digital gift cards to spend at the Xbox Store, Windows Store and Microsoft Store online. You can also redeem your points for sweepstakes entries for Microsoft products and, if you’re feeling generous, charitable donations.

To celebrate the launch of Microsoft Rewards, Sydney-based fans are invited to head to the Microsoft Store at Pitt Street Mall today (Thursday 12 April 2017) to the Discover Microsoft Rewards event. Here, Microsoft Rewards members will get a chance to win a Surface Book Performance Base, an Xbox One, a Surface Pro 4 and a stack of other great prizes.
