Four easy ways to score bonus points from Qantas, Velocity and KrisFlyer.

This week’s Rewards Roundup is packed with bonus points offers from three of Australia’s favourite frequent flyer programs: Qantas Frequent Flyer, Velocity Frequent Flyer and Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer. From using a prepaid travel card to pick up extra points to throwing your hat in the ring to win 1 million Velocity Points, these are the points offers you'll want to jump on this week.

Earn up to 6,000 bonus Qantas Points with Qantas Cash

Whether you’re travelling overseas or shopping online, you could reward yourself with up to 6,000 bonus Qantas Points when you top up and spend with Qantas Cash until 20 February 2018. The number of bonus points you could earn will depend on how much you’re loading onto the card, which you can compare below:

Load amount Bonus Qantas Points
AU$2,000 to $5,999 1,500
AU$6,000 or more 6,000

You can choose from a selection of 10 supported currencies including USD, GBP, EUR, SGD, NZD, HKD, JPY, CAD, THB or AED. You’ll also continue to earn 1.5 Qantas Points per $1 spent on international transactions.

So, let’s say that you load and spend $6,000 with your Qantas Cash card overseas. Not only will you earn 6,000 bonus points, but you’ll also earn 9,000 points with the standard earn rate, bringing your total points bounty to 15,000! That’s almost enough points to fly from Sydney to Brisbane in Business Class (16,000 points).

Collect 1,000 bonus Qantas Points with Woolworths

Do you want to turn your next supermarket shop into a free flight? Well, you could do just that if you opt to exchange your Woolworths Rewards points for Qantas Points. Usually, you’d get 870 Qantas Points for 2,000 Woolworths Rewards, but the airline is offering frequent flyers bonus points if they make the switch this week. If you opt to transfer your Woolworths Rewards to Qantas Points by 21 January 2018, you’ll receive 1,000 bonus Qantas Points on top of your standard earn rate!

Last chance to win 1 million Velocity Points with your Global Wallet card

Velocity is giving you a chance to be a points millionaire this month. If you use your Velocity Global Wallet card to make foreign transactions until 31 January 2018, you’ll go into the draw to win 1 million Velocity Points! That’s enough points to fly from Melbourne to Hong Kong return 17 times or Sydney to Los Angeles return 11 times!

In addition to the 2 points per dollar spent overseas you’d usually earn, you’ll receive one entry into the draw for every AUD$1 equivalent spent internationally until the end of January. If you load more funds onto your card, every AUD$1 transferred into a supported foreign currency will also get you another entry.

Your chance to win 100,000 KrisFlyer Miles

Singapore Airlines is giving its KrisFlyer members an easy way to win a whole lotta’ points over the next few months. If you update your KrisFlyer email subscription preferences before 31 March 2018, you’ll automatically go into the draw for a grand prize of 100,000 KrisFlyer miles.

It only takes a few seconds to update your preferences and even if you don’t win, at least you’ll be kept in the loop about exclusive promotions and the latest airfare deals.
