If you’re planning to travel over Christmas or in the new year, these offers are an easy way to get your holiday booking done early while making big savings.

Use your American Express credit card to spend at Dan Murphy’s online store and receive $10 cash back

If you’ve got some weekend drinks or a party coming up, a visit to Dan Murphy’s might reward you with more than the gift of booze this month. If you use your American Express credit card to make a purchase of $50 or more at Dan Murphy’s online store, you’ll receive $10 back on your account. Valid until 27 October 2016, the offer is limited to the first 20,000 cards to sign up for the offer. Please note that the offer is only available for online Dan Murphy’s purchases, so you won’t be able to earn the $10 cash back in-store. While $10 may not seem like a huge saving, you could save up to 20% on your next alcohol purchase without even having to enter the store. Sounds like a bargain to us.

Earn 10 Qantas Points per $1 spent with THE ICONIC

With race season coming up, there’s never been a better time to splurge on a new outfit at THE ICONIC than this week. The Australian online retailer has partnered with Qantas to offer double Qantas Points to frequent flyers who make a purchase at THE ICONIC before 11.59am 16 October 2016. So rather than the standard 5 points per $1 spent, frequent flyers will earn 10 points for every dollar they spend at the online store until the offer ends.

However, as we reported earlier this week, the offer is only available on THE ICONIC purchases made through Qantas’ Online Mall, rather than directly through the retailer’s site. On top of this offer, you can also expect the usual perks of free overnight delivery for purchases over $70, free returns for 100 days and 3-hour delivery in Sydney. For more discounts with THE ICONIC, see our coupon codes page.

Get a bonus $20 Target gift card when redeeming 50,000 Commonwealth Bank Awards points

If you’ve been saving up your Commonwealth Bank Awards points for a gift card, now might be a good time to cash it up. If you use your 50,000 Commonwealth Bank Awards points to redeem a $250 Target gift card, CBA will throw in a $20 Gift Card for free. Available until 6 November, this offer is open to the first 500 redemptions. Unless you were already planning on redeeming your 50k Awards Points for a Target gift card, though, you might want to compare what else you can redeem for the same amount of points before indulging in the offer. This will ensure that you’re getting the most value out of your Awards points before you blow them all on a gift card.

Spend $100 or more at Woolworths Online and get $20 back on your American Express credit card

The second American Express cash back offer featured in this week’s Rewards Roundup could reward you for your next supermarket shop. If you use your American Express card to spend $100 or more online at, you’ll receive a $20 credit on your account. Limited to the first 20,000 cards to register for the promotion, you can take advantage of the offer until 4 November 2016. Once you’ve made the eligible purchase, you can expect the credit to appear on your billing statement within 5 business days. While you can’t take advantage of the offer in-store, it’s a good chance for Woolworths online shoppers to enjoy some extra perks without even stepping into the store.
