NAB Qantas Rewards Premium Credit Card

Why it's appealing: You can score 75,000 bonus Qantas Frequent Flyer points if you spend $1,500 on the card in the first 90 days after approval.
What you need to know about it: That offer runs until 2 January 2017, and is only available to online applicants. The purchase rate for the card is 19.99% p.a. Check our review for a full overview of the rates and fees for the card.

Google Pixel XL on contract

Why it's appealing: Google's new Pixel XL phone is very impressive (as our review confirms, but starting at $1,269 for the 32GB, it's fairly pricey. Buying on contract means you don't need that up-front sum.
What you need to know about it: Telstra has the exclusive rights to offering the Pixel XL on contract in Australia. The cheapest option is $92 a month over 24 months for the S plan, which includes 1GB of data. For $145 a month over 24 months, the XL plan includes a much more generous 20GB of data.

ME Term Deposit

Why it's appealing: ME Bank lifted rates on its term deposits last week.
What you need to know about it: Rates for 6-month deposits are up by 0.10% to 3.10% and 9-month deposits are up 0.50% to 3.00%. While those aren't enormous rates, any increase is welcome in the current low-rate environment.

Matchacar

Why it's appealing: As well as offering a broking service for personal loans for car buyers, Matchacar runs a buying and selling service that can help match you up with the right vehicle - handy if the thought of traipsing through a car yard fills you with dread.
What you need to know about it: The rates you'll pay depend on which lender you're matched with, but generally start at 5.35% p.a. Learn more about the service in our overview.

30% off at THE ICONIC

Why it's appealing: 30% off is a solid deal; indeed it's a better percentage discount than many of the stores taking part in Vogue Online Shopping Night, which kicks off today.
What you need to know about it: The discount applies to more than 20,000 styles on offer through the store, but doesn't cover absolutely everything.
